  • Matt Bonds, PhD

    co-Chief Executive Officer

    Matt has PhDs in economics and disease ecology and a founding member of the PIVOT Board. He is currently on the faculty of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Previous to this, he lived and worked with Partners In Health in Rwanda for five years. Click here to visit his website.

  • Tara Loyd, MPH

    co-Chief Executive Officer
    Boston, MA

    Tara has a master’s degree in Public Health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.  She came to PIVOT after serving as the Project Manager for Partners in Health in Malawi.  Prior to her time in Malawi, Tara lived and worked in Lesotho as a Peace Corps Volunteer, co-founded a safe house and outreach program for children orphaned by HIV, and volunteered for PIH Lesotho.

  • Mohammed Ali Ouenzar, MD

    Ifanadiana District, Madagascar

    Ali holds a Diploma in Medical Science and Doctorate in General Medicine degrees from Université Mohammed V / Faculté de Médicine et de Pharmacie in Morocco. He has extensive public health leadership and consulting experience in various settings including Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Mozambique and Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity in Morocco.   • Lara Hall, MD

    Medical Director
    Ifanadiana District, Madagascar

    Lara joined our team in January 2015 after 7 years of practice as a family medicine physician focusing on maternal and child health.  The 19 years of experience that prepared her for this job included Peace Corps service in the Republic of Congo where she met her husband Patrick and a volunteer experience in Madagascar.  She and Patrick live in Fianar with their boys Eli and Micah who are 6 and 9 years old.
