Matt Bonds, PhD
Co-Founder and
Scientific DirectorBoston, MAMatt has PhDs in economics and disease ecology and a founding member of the PIVOT Board. He is currently on the faculty of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Tara Loyd, MPH
Executive DirectorBoston, MATara has a master’s degree in Public Health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. She came to PIVOT after serving as the Project Manager for Partners in Health in Malawi. Prior to her time in Malawi, Tara lived and worked in Lesotho as a Peace Corps Volunteer, co-founded a safe house and outreach program for children orphaned by HIV, and volunteered for PIH Lesotho. Laura Cordier, MSc
Country DirectorIfanadiana District, MadagascarPrior to entering her role as Country Director, Laura built and led PIVOT’s Monitoring & Evaluation team for five years, developing a program to improve existing Ministry of Health systems of information and measure the implementation and impact of PIVOT’s intervention. Before moving to Madagascar to launch PIVOT’s programming, she worked with the Chars Livelihoods Programme in Bangladesh, focusing on water, sanitation, hygiene and food security issues. Laura holds a Masters Degree in Control of Infectious Disease from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
